New customers can save as much as £90 when they sign-up to the Essentials or Plus packages with TalkTalk broadband.

The Essentials package, which comes with speeds of up to 24Mb broadband, a 40GB download allowance and evening and weekend calls, will cost you just £3.49 a month.

And if you want "unlimited broadband" downloads and anytime landline calls, the Plus package will set you back just £7.49 a month if you sign-up online by 7 March.

Line rental must be paid on top at £12.30 a month.

Michael Phillips, Broadbandchoices.co.uk product manager, said: "TalkTalk's latest deal can get you online for just over £40 for a whole year.

"You can also take advantage of the provider's free installation offer, saving you an extra £29.99 as well as its new, shorter, 12-month contracts," he added.
