Register now for TalkTalk 40Mb broadband

Want to boost your download speed with superfast broadband? You can now register for TalkTalk's new Fibre Optic Boost, offering speeds of up to 40Mb.

More than four million homes and businesses can already get a fibre optic connection through the BT broadband network, which TalkTalk will use for its own 40Mb broadband Boost.

To find out if TalkTalk offers fibre optic broadband in your area, simply enter your postcode and TalkTalk phone number at the TalkTalk website.

Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk, said: "We are seeing increasing demand for superfast broadband and our Fibre Optic Boost is a great way to ensure seamless connectivity and high upload and download speeds.

"This boost is ideal for a wide range of customers, such as families who all want to be online at the same time, people wanting to stream HD content, or gamers needing lightning quick response times."

Prices are yet to be revealed for the new package, but the Boost will use BT's new Infinity network to offer speeds of up to 40Mb.

BT Infinity packages start from just £20 a month, while Virgin Media is currently rolling out an even faster 100Mb broadband package to complement the 50Mb broadband deal already available to its full cable network.
