4G device owners given the option of a 30-day sim-only plan. Prices start at £23 with unlimited calls and texts.
EE, the UK's first major 4G mobile network, is now offering 4GEE mobile plans to customers who'd rather not sign a lengthy contract.
From today, there's a range of 30-day plans, which give customers who already own a 4G device the option of making it 'superfast' on a rolling, monthly basis.
Previously, sim-only 4G customers had no choice but to sign a 12-month contract.
Simeon Bird, director of propositions at EE, said: "It's our ambition to provide consumers with the most comprehensive range of 4GEE plans possible. With these new 30-day options, we're pleased to be providing an even more flexible way to access 4G."
The 30-day plans are priced at £23 for 500MB of data, £28 for 1GB, £33 for 3GB, £43 for 8GB and £63 for 20GB. All six options include unlimited calls and texts.
Customers still have the option of a 12-month contract for a £2 a month discount.
EE is currently the UK's only major 4G mobile provider, offering mobile internet speeds that are up to five times faster than 3G services still used by the majority of Britain.
The network is still growing, but is expected to cover 98% of the UK by the end of 2014. Rival mobile providers, including O2, Vodafone and Three, are expected to launch similar 4G services in the coming weeks and months.
