BT Sport adds more football stars to its dream team of brand ambassadors, which already includes Gareth Bale and Robin Van Persie.
Everton star Marouane Fellaini and Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge have teamed up with telecoms giant BT for the launch of its new BT Sport TV channels.
Despite being rivals in the Merseyside derby this weekend, Fellaini, 25, and Sturridge, 23, will appear as co-stars in BT Sport advertising, as well as featuring in programmes when the channels start broadcasting later this year.
Spurs star and PFA Player of the Year, Gareth Bale, and Premier League top scorer Robin Van Persie, of Manchester United, have also been snapped up.
Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: "We're thrilled to have bridged the Merseyside divide and captured two stars, one from either side of Stanley Park. Both these guys are exactly the sort of young, distinctive talents we want to showcase.
"Fans know them for their outstanding ability on the pitch, but we're also aiming to get them involved in our programmes and to offer some fresh new voices from within the top tier game," he added.
BT Sport has exclusive live broadcast rights to 38 games in the Barclays Premier League for three seasons starting from August 2013. Almost half of the matches are top picks.
Last week, BT announced that Bale would be joining Van Persie in the growing line-up of footballers helping to launch the new TV channels. Arsenal and England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also signed up to be a BT Sport ambassador.
As well as the Premier League games and matches from the FA Cup, Scottish premier League, Europa League and the German Bundesliga, BT Sport will also show exclusive coverage of all 69 live rugby union games from the Aviva Premiership.
