Instagram introduces video clips

Mobile photo-sharing app Instagram, owned by the social network Facebook, now allows users with either Android or Apple devices to film video clips lasting between three and 15 seconds.

It comes just five months after the launch of Vine, a mobile app for sharing six-second, looping video clips, which just happens to be owned by Facebook's arch nemesis, Twitter.

Tesco Mobile named Best Provider 2013

Consumer watchdog Which? has crowned Tesco Mobile this year's Best Telecoms Services Provider in its annual awards ceremony.

Other tech winners included Amazon for customer care, Panasonic for its cameras and the Best Computing Brand gong went to Samsung.

Wimbledon: 10 live feeds to stream online

Tech-savvy tennis fans are now able stream Wimbledon online. The championships get underway today and run until Sunday 7 July, 2013.

BBC coverage includes 10 live feeds available for streaming on laptops, PCs, tablets, smartphones and other connected devices via the BBC Sport Video Player.

EE takes 4G to Glastonbury ... in a tractor

EE, the UK's first major 4G provider, has modified a tractor at Worthy Farm, the home of Glastonbury Festival, creating a slow-moving 'superfast' Wi-Fi hotspot.

The tractor will tour the Glastonbury site, on which 150,000 revellers will descend this weekend, allowing those with a compatible device to try 4G free of charge.

TalkTalk doubles mobile data limits

TalkTalk Mobile customers can now use up to twice as much data on their 3G mobile internet connection, as usage limits have been doubled across the broadband, phone and TV provider's various mobile phone tariffs.
