If you’re a fan of rugby, ice hockey or NASCAR, Premier Sports will bring all of this and more to your living room for £7.99 a month. So might it be worth you signing up?
Virgin Media's announced it'll soon offer subscriptions to Premier Sports for £7.99 a month, as the sports channel's free introductory period comes to an end.
Premier Sports promises to have viewers "on the edge of their seats" with over 1,000 live sports events each year, including the National Rugby League Auckland Nines that's just around the corner - as well as NHL, NASCAR Sprint Cup and GAA coverage, too.
If you're a Virgin Media TV customer, Premier Sports has been free for you to watch since October, giving you live coverage of all 28 matches in the Rugby League World Cup.
Stephane David, executive director of content at Virgin Media, said: "Premier Sports joined our TV platform with a bang last year and brought breath-taking World Cup moments to our customers across the UK at no extra cost.
"As the introductory free-to-view period draws to a close, we're delighted to reveal a great value monthly subscription offer, which at £7.99 a month gives customers access to the channel on their TVs and also mobiles, tablets and online."
Premier Sports is available on Virgin Media TV channel 551 and can also be enjoyed on Virgin TV Anywhere, the provider's mobile streaming platform for PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets - so you can watch wherever you've got Wi-Fi.
The channel will still be available at no extra cost until 6am this Saturday, 1 March, after which point you'll need a subscription. If you're interested you can contact Virgin Media now to request the Premier Sports package for £7.99 a month.
