Now you can catch up on every World Cup match with the NOW TV Box

ITV Player is coming to Sky’s box that turns your TV into a smart TV for less than a tenner, which means you’ll be able to watch the World Cup when you want, or catch up on Corrie if you want to avoid it altogether!

Good news if you can't wait for the World Cup to start tomorrow but you're worried you won't be able to watch every match what with all the 5pm and 11pm kick offs - ITV Player is being added to the NOW TV Box.

This means, if you don't already have a TV or a TV package that lets you catch up on what you've missed instead of having to huddle around a laptop or tablet, you'll now be able to do just that for less than a tenner.

That's because, with the addition of ITV Player, Sky's internet-connected set-top box that will turn any TV into a smart TV for £9.99 lets you catch up on TV series, films, live events and more from the UK's four major broadcasters - the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

So, with ITV Player downloading to NOW TV Boxes from today, you'll be able to catch up on all the World Cup matches, which are being shown by either the BBC or ITV, starting with Brazil vs Croatia on ITV tomorrow, which kicks off at 9pm.

And, if you hate football and you're already sick of hearing about the World Cup, a NOW TV Box is one way of getting away from it, as with ITV Player you'll be able to watch the likes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale when you want on it, as well as whatever's on BBC iPlayer, 4oD and so on.

As well as getting a NOW TV Box on its own for £9.99, you can get one with Sky broadband from £12.50 a month plus £15.40 a month line rental. You'll need a minimum broadband download speed of 2.5Mb to use it either way, so test what speed you get first if you're thinking about getting one.
