A 60-minute programme of highlights from the inaugural FIA Formula E Championship, the world’s first fully electric racing series, will be shown on BT Sport after each event…
BT Sport's announced it's going to show Formula E racing from next month.
And for anyone who doesn't know what that means - don't be embarrassed, neither did we - the FIA Formula E Championship is the world's first fully electric race tournament.
For all 10 rounds of the inaugural season, starting in Beijing on Saturday 13 September, 2014, BT Sport will air a 60-minute programme of highlights in the week after each race.
Live coverage of the entire Formula E series will be on ITV4, which is free to watch on TV from Sky, Virgin Media, BT and TalkTalk, as well Freeview, Freesat and YouView boxes.
Ali Russell, media director at Formula E, said: "I'm pleased to announce this deal with BT Sport on top of our existing agreement with ITV. It's a bonus for fans in the UK, as they'll now have not one but two channels to watch the FIA Formula E Championship."
"BT Sport's really hit the ground running with an ever-increasing number of subscribers and world-class coverage."
With BT Sport, which you can watch free online if you have BT broadband and free on the telly if you've got BT TV, you also get exclusive live coverage of 38 matches in the Barclays Premier League, which kicked off a couple of weekends back.
If you're not with BT, you can also get BT Sport on both Sky and Virgin Media TV, but you might have to pay a few pounds extra each month unless you switch to BT broadband.
