It’s only a 24-hour taster to tempt you into upgrading to a Sky Sports TV package, but it still means you can watch Arsenal play Crystal Palace tomorrow without paying a penny for the privilege...
If you've got Sky, Virgin Media or TalkTalk TV, you'll be able to watch Sky Sports free of charge this weekend, as the new Barclays Premier League season gets underway.
Sky Sports Open Day, where all seven Sky Sports channels are made available to all, kicks off at 6am tomorrow, Saturday 16 August, ending 24 hours later at 6am on Sunday 17 August, from which point the channels will only be available to Sky Sports subscribers as normal.
As well as marking the start of the Premier League season, Sky's also celebrating the recent launch of a new channel dedicated to European football. Sky Sports 5 is available at no extra cost to anyone with a Sky Sports TV package.
David Beckham, Sky ambassador and H&M budgie smuggler, said: "Some of my greatest playing moments were on the European stage with Manchester United, playing in el clásico for Real Madrid and captaining England in Euro qualifiers.
"Sky Sports 5 will offer all the drama and excitement that European football has to offer."
For the 24-hour duration of Sky Sports Open Day, you'll be able to watch Sky Sports 5 as well as Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports News HQ.
So, what's on? Well, with Saturday being the first day of the new Premier League season, you'll be able to see Arsenal take on Crystal Palace from 5.30pm on Sky Sports 1.
And if you're a cricket fan, to catch live coverage of the fifth Test between England and India, tune into Sky Sports 2 from 10.30am.
If the chance to watch Sky Sports for free whets your appetite, now isn't a bad time to sign up for it. At the moment, when you take Sky TV you also get two years' free Sky broadband, or superfast Sky Fibre half price for 12 months.
You can also get Sky Sports with Virgin Media, TalkTalk and BT TV, although with BT you need to have a BT Vision+ box as Sky Sports isn't currently available on YouView from BT. To get Sky Sports on YouView, you'll need to go with TalkTalk and add the Sky Sports Boost.
