BT launches “biggest-ever broadband deals” - prices cut by up to 63%

You can now save up to 63% on BT broadband, with the telecoms titan having launched its “biggest ever broadband deals”. If you're a new customer you can get Broadband + Weekend Calls from just £4.75 a month plus £16.99 a month line rental.

The cheapest package, Broadband + Weekend Calls, offers download speeds of up to 17Mb and 10GB of usage a month on a 12-month contract, and you'll get a Sainsbury's gift card worth £75 with it.

The government is currently promoting the benefits of superfast broadband in a new ad campaign, and the new BT deals cover that too, with download speeds of up to 38Mb available for just £7.50 a month - over 50% cheaper than usual - plus £16.99 a month line rental with BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls, which gives you 20GB of usage a month on a 12-month contract.

The TV Starter + Netflix + BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls package is also on sale. Dubbed "the ultimate entertainment package", it includes BT Infinity, BT TV, BT Sport and Netflix for just £13.49 a month - 25% cheaper than usual - plus £16.99 a month line rental and £5.99 a month for Netflix on a 12-month contract.

You get a Sainsbury's gift card worth £75 if you sign up to Broadband + Weekend Calls by 7 January, 2015, and one worth £125 if you sign up to BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls or TV Starter + Netflix + BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls by the same date.

David McDonald, director of broadband, TV and sport bundles at BT, said: "We are giving consumers a choice of our biggest-ever broadband deals to suit every lifestyle, with savings of up to 63% over 12 months.

"These deals include everything, from our superfast fibre optic broadband to free BT Sport, so customers can enjoy great savings and amazing value."
