Frozen, Lego Movie and more on Sky Movies this Christmas

With the festive season rapidly approaching, Sky Movies has detailed their line-up of films over the Christmas period. With holiday favourites and brand new blockbusters on the list, there’ll be something for everyone this holiday.

Sky Movies isn't afraid to flash its rather sizable wallet to get the latest blockbusters up to 12-months ahead of other channels and streaming services. As such, many of this year's Christmas films include some of the 2014's top family flicks, including the smash hit Frozen, Muppets Most Wanted and The Lego Movie.

There's also a brand new Christmas-themed outing for the cast of Toy Story, with all the popular characters returning in Toy Story That Time Forgot.

Meanwhile, for the older viewers, Noah and Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be broadcast on British TV for the first time.

Sky Movies' director, Ian Lewis, said: "We're committed to offering our customers the very best entertainment and flexibility over when and how they enjoy it all year round; we know family time is especially precious at Christmas and with UK TV premieres of Frozen, The Lego Movie and Toy Story That Time Forgot on the service, we hope customers will enjoy discovering the latest and greatest movies together, as well as revisiting festive classics on Sky Movies Christmas."

Finally, to treat families to a snowy day whatever the weather, from 2 December, several winter themed treats, including The Day After Tomorrow, Cold Mountain and March of the Penguins can be watched on Sky Movie Greats, or on demand.
