Into The Badlands to premier exclusively on AMC

Post-apocalyptic martial arts drama Into The Badlands is set to premier in the UK exclusively on AMC channel, available just for those of you who have BT TV or the BT Sport Pack on Sky.

It's a six-part series set several centuries in the future, after the world as we know it has been ripped apart by a series of disasters and replaced with a new, more brutal society.

The land - known as the Badlands - is divided between a bunch of rival Barons who control all the local resources and power. They enforce their harsh rule with loyal soldiers called Clippers, who get a heightened status and a little more luxury in their lives in return for their service to their Baron.

Into The Badlands follows Sunny, a Clipper like no other with "lethal proficiency" in martial arts, whose Baron Quinn has been largely unchallenged… until a new Baron, known as The Widow, enters the scene. An attack from her army leads Sunny to MK, a teenage boy with "a dark secret and a sizeable bounty on his head", and the two of them find themselves embarking on a quest together.

The show stars Daniel Wu (Europa Report) as Sunny, Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings) as Quinn, Aramis Knight (Ender's Game) as MK, and Emily Beecham (The Village) as The Widow. Look out for appearances from Oliver Stark, Orla Brady, Sarah Bolger, Ally Ioannides, and Madeleine Mantock too.

Into The Badlands airs on Monday 10 October at 9am, on AMC channel. AMC is available on channel 332 on BT TV, or Sky channel 192 for BT Sport Pack subscribers.
