EE, which runs Orange and T-Mobile in the UK, is the country's biggest mobile network. It also offers the fastest mobile internet, and a wide range of 3G and 4G pay-monthly, pay-as-you-go and sim-only deals, as well as mobile broadband dongles and Wi-Fi.
EE (www.ee.co.uk) is the UK's biggest mobile network, although the brand in its current form is still quite new. Previously known as Everything Everywhere, EE is the result of a merger between T-Mobile and Orange.
Perhaps best known for 'superfast' 4G mobile internet, EE offers a wide range of pay monthly, pay-as-you-go and sim-only price plans, and provides 3G connectivity too.

EE 4G (4GEE)
4G is the technology behind 'next generation' mobile internet, allowing you to browse the web and stream or download videos, music and apps at speeds closer to what you'd normally only get with home broadband.
It's available for smartphones, tablets and laptops - you just need to check your specific device is compatible with EE's network before joining - and is typically five times faster than 3G, which is still used every day by most of us.
4G is really designed for those who want to indulge in 'high bandwidth' activity, such as streaming HD videos, on the go - without annoying pauses for 'buffering' - and generally just have a superior experience of mobile internet.
EE first launched its 4G service, known as 4GEE, in October 2012. For a while, EE was the UK's only major provider of 4G mobile internet. Now rivals O2 and Vodafone have also launched superfast 4G plans.
EE price plans
EE offers a range of pay monthly, pay-as-you-go and sim-only plans,
Pay monthly plans are available with 24-month or 12-month contracts. All give you access to superfast 4G mobile broadband, unlimited calls and texts, and between 500MB and 20GB of data per month.
You can also pick 24-month roaming plans if you regularly use your phone overseas, and if you want to share a plan, for example with your entire family, there are options available through EE.
For those who want a sim-only plan, you can choose from 12-month or 30-day packages, with unlimited texts and calls, and between 500MB and 20GB of data per month.
If you don't want a 4G deal at all, EE also offers 3G plans through its Orange and T-Mobile brands, both of which are now part of the EE family.
