How to use the dynamic dates on Umbraco
Layout
In order to use the below shortcodes you need to enclose the letters in double curly braces - so to look as below
e.g.
Popular layouts
MM yyyy - (Dec 2025)
MMMM yyyy - (December 2025)
Days
dd - two digit day number (10) - (adds 0 in front of single digit day numbers)
ddd - abbreviated day name (Wed)
dddd - Full day name (Wednesday)
Months
Months must be indicated using capitalised M's otherwise they will be interpreted as minutes.
MM - Month number (12)
MMM - abbreviated month name (Dec)
MMMM - full month name (December)
Years
yy - last two numbers of year (25)
yyyy - full year number (2025)
